There are times when a photographer wants to communicate size and magnitude. One technique to accomplish this is the Bugs Eye View. The idea is shoot an image as if you were a bug looking up. In this image the photographer wanted the viewer to see the Strat Casino's iconic tower shooting into the sky. Shooting the tower from a more traditional wide angle view would have provided the viewer with the scale of the building, but with a lot less drama.
