When a photographer wants to communicate nostalgia in an image, they will most likely use the sepia technique. Some cameras and most camera phones, have a sepia setting. However, this look can be achieved with just about any image in post processing using the color grading tool. This image was chosen for sepia editing because of the near black and white tonality of the raw image. The contrast between the modern architecture and nostalgic tone is something this photographer finds interesting.
