Using leading lines as a composition technique encourages the viewer to discover different aspects of the image. In this image, the photographer wanted the viewer to feel like they were on a train approaching a station. When capturing leading lines it's important to pay special attention to the surrounding elements and what you want the viewer discover along the way.
